Anxiety

Anxiety consists of the 52 year history of the Urbane Center, a haven in a relentless nuclear wasteland. Sometimes called the Trillion Dollar City, the Urbane Center had a tumultuous, short existence seeing the rise of authoritarian rule, never ending violence, and ineffective neutrality. Anxiety focuses on the actions of the Anxious Corporation during these 52 years and those actions that led to the annihilation of the Urbane Center.

The most well developed section of this history is Grievance which highlights the events occurring during the final year of the Urbane Center. The title Grievance comes from the CEO Mark Grieves of the Anxious Corporation During Grievance, the historian, Scope, attempts to put together the events that lead to the ruined state of the city. She discovers a complex narrative with various actors and mysterious figures interacting during the final year of the city. The story focuses on a potential survivor from the city, Lilith Lans, and what she discovered, why she decided to leave before the end.
